Dustin Furlow

Artist of the Month | November 2017

“I’ve found after having installed the K&K Trinity Pro System in 5 different guitars of mine that no other pickup comes as close to translating the instruments’ unique tonal qualities as these pickups! Anytime I switch guitars on stage I, and the audience, can appreciate the true, natural voice of each instrument rather than their tone/attack being colored/altered by the pickup itself like with other brands. I have found this to be an extremely important factor to me, as I am most inspired by the sound of my instruments when unplugged and need that same inspiration on stage.”

Dustin Furlow is a 24-year-old Contemporary-folk artist who’s songs are both familiar and eloquently progressive. Averaging 200-250 shows a year, he is almost always engaged in studio-work, writing, or performing and is currently finishing his third project “Live at Master Sound Studios”.
In February 2017, he won the Veer Magazine award for “Best Acoustic/Folk Artist” in Southeast Virginia for 2016. and has previously shared the stage with notable acts such as Vertical Horizon, Occidental Gypsy, Matt Thomas, BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove, Phil Roebuck, and Logan Vath. His most recent release “The Sound That You Call Home” has enjoyed airplay on NPR radio’s “Acoustic Highway”, “Hunter at Sunrise”, and “Out of the Box” and recieved the title of “Album of the Year” by Barry Graham of NPR’s “Acoustic Highway”.
