Onboard Trinity System

The Onboard Trinity System consists of:

• The super natural Pure Western or Pure Classic guitar bridgeplate transducing system.
• The Trinity Miniature Condenser Mic with integrated 5" gooseneck and 20-20.000 Hz frequency range.
• The Onboard Dual Channel Preamp is specially designed with "Silent-Filter-Technology". Individual adjustable Gain-Vol-Bass-Middle-Treble controls for both pickup channel and mic channel. It mounts inside the guitar on the bottom with Velcro and measures only 2.5" x 2.75"
• The system comes completely assembled with TRSS stereo endpin-jack wired in MONO so a standard guitar cable can be used; no soldering necessary
• Self-adhesive magnetic battery holder
• Volume control unit for inside-soundhole-edge mount with individual thumbwheel-pots for mic and pickup

The photo shows the preamp circuit board and its EQ-ing capability. The board mounts on the bottom of your instrument with Velcro. It is only 2.5" x 2.75" small. The circuit board has a metal backing but it is fully open to the top to allow for adjusting the EQ trimmers. It is designed to be preset to perfectly balance the pickup and mic in your guitar. It offers powerful +/- 20 dB EQ without the necessity to cut a hole in your valuable instrument. You can place it either directly under the soundhole for easy access with a long, small-blade flathead screwdriver or you can hide it deeper in your guitar. This system does not require any destructive alteration of your guitar other than the installation of the endpin jack.

Three Onboard Trinity models are available:

• Onboard Trinity Western Mini - We now recommend the mini pickups for all acoustic guitars. Permanent installation with superglue is required for optimum performance. We are proud to announce that our engineers succeeded in raising the output level of the Pure Western Mini by about 15% which makes it now almost as powerful as the bigger Pure Western Standard Size - removable pickups. This pickup system will fit ANY guitar! It features absolutely balanced and linear sound transmission all over the guitar's frequency spectrum.
  
  
• Onboard Trinity Western Standard Size - Removable - We recommend this pickup system with larger transducer heads if a removable installation is desired or for personal preference. • Onboard Trinity Classic - For classic/nylon string guitars.

The Onboard Trinity Western Standard Size - Removable can be attached and safely removed without any damage to instrument or pickups. Our special polyester "on tape" mounting system guarantees safe adhesion plus easy removal. Stick the tape to the bridgeplate first and superglue the pickups to the tape. If you want to remove the system simply pull off the tape.
