PowerMix Trinity System

The PowerMix Trinity System consists of:

• The Trinity Western or Trinity Classic: K&K's super natural sounding pickup/microphone combination system. Comprised of the best-selling Pure Pickup and the Trinity Condensor Microphone, this combo delivers amazing sound quality.
• The FanTaStick Undersaddle Pickup - Our time-proven undersaddle transducer that delivers unbeatable volume and clarity.
• The brand new PowerMix 3-Channel Preamp - An onboard preamp with amazing mixing capability. (NOTE: This preamp can easily be hidden deeper inside the guitar. We provide a temporary attachment system which does not damage your guitar's label. After all sound adjustments are done, you can choose a final location deeper inside the guitar. The double volume control element is designed for internal soundhole edge mount.)

Our FanTaStick is one of the finest undersaddle pickups available today. Many players choose this pickup for their guitar because they find that it sounds warmer than any other undersaddle pickup on the market. It also provides standard undersaddle features, like high gain-before-feedback, lots of clarity, and high definition.

The FanTaStick's piezo crystals are specially selected for their acoustic signal strength and handcrafted to enhance this quality. Unlike other undersaddle transducers, the FanTaStick is oriented towards the guitar-top and not towards the strings. This creates a warmer tone. We also use wider crystals for a more forgiving pickup alignment.

Brandon St. James uses the FanTaStick and tells us, "I used this pickup in the recording of my new CD. Even though $2,000 mics were available in the studio, the engineers and myself honestly felt that we couldn't improve on the sound achieved from going direct to the board from the pickup. The Pure Pickup and the FanTaStick blend beautifully. More than the sum of their parts, the pickups create an impressive microphone-like tone quality with definition and power that is unprecedented in today's guitar pickup market. Adding in the Trinity Microphone (available in the PowerMix Trinity) opens the sound up even more and truly gives you the best of all worlds of amplified acoustic sound.

All elements can be mounted non-destructively and installation requires no holes other than the endpin hole. All the components are meticulously phase aligned. The PowerMix 2-Channel Preamp also uses new, low-power consumption parts so that the battery life is up to 120 hours.

Three PowerMix Trinity models are available:

• PoweMix Trinity Mini - We now recommend the mini pickups for all acoustic guitars. Permanent installation with superglue is required for optimum performance. We are proud to announce that our engineers succeeded in raising the output level of the Pure Western Mini by about 15% which makes it now almost as powerful as the bigger Pure Western Standard Size - removable pickups. This pickup system will fit ANY guitar! It features absolutely balanced and linear sound transmission all over the guitar's frequency spectrum.
  
  
• PowerMix Trinity Standard Size - Removable - We recommend this pickup system with larger transducer heads if a removable installation is desired or for personal preference. • PowerMix Trinity Classic - For classic/nylon string guitars.

The PowerMix Trinity Standard Size - Removable can be attached and safely removed without any damage to instrument or pickups. Our special polyester "on tape" mounting system guarantees safe adhesion plus easy removal. Stick the tape to the bridgeplate first and superglue the pickups to the tape. If you want to remove the system simply pull off the tape.
