Trinity Western

The Trinity Western is a dual source pickup/internal mic system with a beltclip-outboard-preamp.
It is also available with an onboard preamp, the Onboard Trinity System, if it is desired to have all controls directly on/in the guitar or, when paired with our top-of-the-line preamp, the Quantum Blender, as the Quantum Trinity System.

The Trinity Western System consists of:

• The super natural Pure Western Mini or Standard guitar bridge plate transducing system.
• The Trinity Miniature Condenser Mic with integrated 5" gooseneck and 20-20.000 Hz frequency range.
• The special designed Trinity Dual Channel Preamp with "Silent-Filter-Technology". Adjustable Gain-Vol-Bass-Middle-Treble for each channel individually. Beltclip model.
• Mono Mix Out or individual output options on the preamp
• Comes with stereo endpin jack and a 6-foot stereo cable, no soldering required!
  

This system delivers an even more authentic tone than the Pure Western pickup alone. The mic adds some extra air and shimmer to the overall sound, which is very beneficial to the purely acoustic guitarist. The mic can be included into the mix as much as the situation allows for, using the preamp's controls. As a general rule, the lower the stage volume, the more mic can be blended in. This system is great for home recordings too!
The Trinity System is a high quality, yet affordable and versatile pickup/mic combination with mixer/preamp. Due to its integrated 4 " gooseneck, the mic can be mounted in a number of positions, including positions outside the soundhole. It comes with a special self adhesive gooseneck mounting hardware attached to the base of the gooseneck.
The Trinity Preamp allows for individual sound adjustment of mic and pickup. It is built applying K&K's "Silent-Filter-Technology" and our big size component philosophy. We use full size capacitors and other parts because we find they sound better that the miniature components in most of today's competitors preamps. Outside accessible volume controls and internal adjustable gain/EQ controls with +/- 20 dB bass, midrange and treble filters (trimpots) for each individual channel make this little preamp extremely versatile and powerful. This beltclip preamp is an amazing unit for its price!

Two Trinity Western models are available:

• Trinity Western Mini - We recommend the Pure Western Mini pickups for all acoustic guitars as a first choice. Direct installation with superglue is required for optimum performance but the system is still is removable without damaging the guitar (you may damage the pickup though). The Mini pickups have a little less output (about 80%) than the Pure Western Standard, but the Trinity Preamp entirely evens out this slight difference due to it's noiseless circuitry. This pickup system will fit ANY steel string acoustic guitar! It features super balanced, flat sound transmission, warm woody tone without any quack and superior dynamic range all over the guitar's frequency spectrum. This pickup won the silver medal in the 2006 worldwide readers poll of Acoustic Guitar Magazine.
  
• Trinity Western Standard Size - for removable installation - We recommend this pickup system with larger transducer heads if a removable installation is desired or for personal preference. It has a little more output than the Mini system, features extra strong bass response, pronounced midrange and it has a tad stronger high end. This is why we find it a great choice for 12 string guitars with their heavier tops and bridges. With direct superglue installation, the Pure Western Standard Size has maximum output stregth. The removable installation provides about the same output level as the Pure Western Mini with direct superglue installation. Please check for the bridgeplate size of your guitar before you order.

The Trinity Western Standard pickups can be attached and safely removed without any damage to instrument or pickups. Our special polyester "on tape" mounting system guarantees safe adhesion plus easy removal. Stick the tape to the bridgeplate first and superglue the pickups to the tape. If you want to remove the system simply pull off the tape with the pickup discs on it.
