Vibraphone Audio Amplification Systems
The system consists of a set of 42 pickups (one for each bar plus 5 spare), two collecting rails with volume trimpots for each individual bar and the Mini Mixer with all cable and hanger accessories, transport cases, mounting materials, and detailed instructions.
The K&K vibraphone amplification system is played by Mike Mainieri, Dave Samuels, David Friedman, Joe Locke, Tom Toyama, and many more. It was also used by the legendary Lionel Hampton. His instrument, with the K&K system, was donated to the Smithsonian Museum on his 90th birthday.
RETURNING CUSTOMERS: Please note that the new systems are no longer MIDI compatible. All collecting rails now have 4 pin barrel connectors instead of the the formerly used 25 pin connectors.

Custom-made piezo-ceramic audio transducer systems for all different instrument sizes and types. This wonderful sounding system consists of 4 collecting rails ( for a 4 1/3 octave marimba e.g.) equipped with hangers and volume trimpots for each individual bar. It comes with a set of 56 transducers (one for each bar plus 5 spare) and a Mini Mixer which allows perfect adjustment of the following 3 ranges :a-b/c-b/c-c. Connection cables and mounting hardware is supplied.
