Presley Warman
Rockabilly Bassists… THIS is the Pickup System you need! As a working upright bassist I can confidently say the K&K Bass Master RB is nothing short of phenomenal. Since I started on doghouse 4 years ago, its survived every crazy venue (in every conceivable weather situation), and delivers fantastic tone giving me the professional sound I’m looking for.
The customization is great… I can individually EQ my “slap” and “note” sounds to what I like. Since every room calls for something different, I can adjust my slap & note output for the sound guy on the spot (they love that). Its super durable (I mean 100º heat, rain, snow…. this thing holds strong). The battery lasts forever. It pickups the tiny nuances in my playing real well. And last but certainly not least…. I constantly have other musicians complimenting my tone. :)
K&K Bass Master Rockabilly Pickup System is an all around fantastic, durable product and I highly recommend it to any rockabilly doghouse bassist!
"Presley Jewell” Warman is a standout talent in the next generation of rockabilly upright bass musicians. Four years ago, she discovered her passion for the instrument and has since transformed her vision into a musical reality.
Her upright bass, affectionately named “Rosie” (a tribute to Rosie The Riveter), is a Rocker from Silver Creek and is equipped with a K&K Bass Master Rockabilly Pickup System.
Presley is known for her dynamic performances that go far beyond traditional bass playing - she literally dances with her instrument, executing impressive rockabilly tricks that include standing, kneeling, and even jumping over her bass, all while dressed in heels as a vintage 1950s girl.
During her second year, Presley was taught by world renowned slap bassist "Slick Joe Fick" and has continued to hone her craft with remarkable dedication. She currently performs and manages her family band “The Warman Trio - 1950s Family Band & Show”, based out of Tennessee and performing throughout the South East US.”
